We believe in people — we believe in their ability to survive. Pop culture makes it seem like surviving natural and political disasters is nearly impossible and only the strongest will survive. But we believe that anyone can survive if they’re equipped with the right tools — that’s the hard part. But we’ve done the hard part for you. We’ve put all the right tools together all in one place. All you have to do is enjoy the peace of mind that comes from easy and complete preparation.
Here’s the Problem
Disasters aren’t going away, but there was no good way to get prepared until now. Traditionally, there were only 2 ways to get prepared: the DIY approach or a pre-made 72-hour kit.
The DIY Approach
The DIY approach is great if you have some previous experience, like from the military or a bushcraft survival course. If you don’t have this experience, you should expect the learning, researching, and building to take hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars. One of the more well-known preppers, Jason Charles from “The Angry Prepper” estimated that he spent over $60,000 on survival gear and preparation. Unless you’re a closet millionaire who has near limitless free time, this isn’t a great option.
72-Hour Kits Don’t Offer Adequate Preparation
The other option is a pre-made 72-hour kit. The quality of these kits is vastly different and, as you would expect, you get what you pay for. The problem with 72-hour kits isn’t that they’re cheap, it’s that they’re insufficient for most disaster situations. It’s the modern-day equivalent of bringing a knife to a gunfight.
